Do I Have to Print Out the Türkiye e-Visa When I Travel?
Yes. Although officers at border checkpoints can verify your e-Visa on the system, it is best to print it out or save it on your smartphone, tablet, or computer as a hard copy in case of any technical difficulties or issues.
What Documents Do I Need for a Türkiye e-Visa?
In order to obtain an e-Visa to Türkiye, you must have the following documents:
- Passport. Your passport must be valid for at least six months from the date that you plan to enter the country.
- Return ticket. You must get a return ticket.
- Hotel reservation. You need to provide proof of the place where you will stay, e.g., a hotel reservation document in your name.

How Long Does the Türkiye e-Visa Take to Process?
It takes around 48 hours to process, so it is advisable that you apply at least two days before you plan to travel.
How Long Is the Türkiye e-Visa Valid For?
The visa is valid for a total of 180 days. Although, you must not stay longer than 90 days. In case you overstay, you will have to pay fines or not be allowed to enter the country.
Can the Türkiye e-Visa Be Extended?
In case you wish to stay longer, you can apply for a residence permit at a Provincial Directorate of Migration Management.
Do I Need to Enter Türkiye on the Exact Date Specified in My Application?
No, you do not need to enter Turkey on the exact dates as they are specified in your application. You can enter the country any time you want within the validity period.
The validity period is specified in your application.
Note: The validity period is different from the period of stay. The period of stay must not exceed the validity period.
What If My Travel Dates Change?
If you have applied for the Turkey e-Visa, and your travel dates change, you must obtain another visa.
What If I Put in the Wrong Passport Information?
The information on your visa must match the information on your travel document. Otherwise, you won’t be allowed entry.
